BeerHawk.co.uk has appointed Russell Clarke as Head of Trade from BrewDog plc, where he was Learning & Development Business Partner. Russ brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to take the UK’s leading online craft beer retailer to new levels of understanding in how people who work in the industry feel about craft beer.
Welcoming Russ on board, Co-Founder of Beer Hawk, Mark Roberts, said, ““We’re delighted that Russ has joined our fast-growing team to lead our Trade business. His passion for craft beer coupled with his intimate knowledge of difficulties that some outlets face with craft beer ranging will be a tremendous asset. Our Trade business is poised for substantial growth after a successful first year. Russ’s appointment will spearhead that growth and bring a dynamic focus to Trade operations here at Beer Hawk.”
Russ worked previously for BrewDog’s sales team and headed up its Learning & Development. He commented, “I have developed a keen understanding of how people who work in the industry and how consumers feel about craft beer. Leading the Trade team here at Beer Hawk will mean that we can continue our focus on ensuring that beer quality and customer service are at the heart of everything we do, above and beyond what has already been achieved. My aim is to make Beer Hawk the industry standard in both customer care and beer quality for online Trade service and I am already rolling up my sleeves and getting to grips with the opportunities ahead.”
The Beer Hawk trade service was launched in 2016 and is growing substantially, with customers from both the on and off trade enjoying the carefully curated selection of over 800 beers on offer. Beer Hawk has grown to become the UK’s largest consumer beer delivery platform in just five years.
