Salcombe Brewery Co. is delighted to announce the launch of Breeze (ABV 4.0%), a new refreshing session lager available in 330ml cans from retail outlets and www.salcombebrewery.com and also on tap from a wide range of hospitality venues.
Head Brewer Sam Beaman comments: “We are thrilled with the latest addition to our established range of award-winning beers. We have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of creating a session lager that will live up to the expectations of our rapidly growing fan base and we are confident that they won’t be disappointed.”
Breeze (ABV 4.0%) is brewed using two contrasting British hops, Jester and Boadicea. The Jester brings hints of tropical fruit, while the Boadicea introduces subtle spicy notes with hints of orchard blossom. Together they help bring structure and balance to this elegant lager.
Sam continues: “We have spent considerable time perfecting our new lager and we are extremely pleased with the results. Breeze is a highly quaffable pint in its own right but it is also a great accompaniment for BBQ food. We think it will be a hugely popular choice of refreshment for the summer and beyond.”
Breeze is being launched in a 330ml can, hot on the heels of the brewery’s new Salcombe Pilsner, the first of their beers to be produced in this format. Sam explains: “Cans represent a lightweight, portable and less fragile packaging that works particularly well with al fresco drinking, something that we are all enjoying more of this year. It is ideal for garden gatherings, park picnics, beach barbecues and sundowners in the great outdoors. Cans are also considered by many to be a more environmentally friendly option and as such sit well with our aims to constantly improve our sustainability credentials. We will shortly be moving our Salcombe Pale Ale and Island Street Porter into a canned format too.”
Breeze can be purchased in 330ml cans and will also be available on tap in a host of hospitality venues. It joins the award-winning Salcombe Brewery Co. Discovery range which has been created to meet the expectations of the ever-curious craft beer consumer. This includes firm favourites Sun Drop, Island Street Porter, Salcombe Pale Ale, Ocean Cider and the recently launched Salcombe Pilsner. Salcombe Pale Ale and Island Street Porter have just been made available in the new 330ml can format to join Salcombe Pilsner and Breeze in the canned range. Salcombe Brewery Co. also boasts its much-loved Heritage collection which includes Seahorse, Lifesaver, Devon Amber, Shingle Bay and Salcombe Gold.
Salcombe Brewery’s range of beers is available nationwide in pubs and hospitality venues as well as retail outlets and online from www.salcombebrewery.com.
