From Sunday 19th June, San Miguel 0,0 will be widely available on draught at Lord’s Cricket Ground, the Home of Cricket.

San Miguel has announced that their 0,0 beer will be served on draught at selected bars at Lord’s Cricket Ground, from Sunday 19th June, in time for a summer season of cricket. First available for guests attending the Vitality Blast Middlesex v Kent match, San Miguel 0,0 launches in line with the 20th season of T20 cricket at the iconic Home of Cricket.

With one in three consumers now actively moderating their alcohol consumption – Nielsen data reports that sales of low and no-alcohol drinks have jumped 30 percent since March 2022 – San Miguel will support the venue in enhancing the customer non-alcoholic experience at an important time for the category.

With 30 taps across one of the most famous sports grounds in the world, being available at Lord’s is a major moment for San Miguel 0,0 and marks the biggest draught distribution of San Miguel 0,0 in the UK.

Dharmesh Rana, Director of Marketing, World Beer at Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company said: “2022 is a huge year for San Miguel 0,0 as the no-and low-alcohol continues to rise in popularity. Lord’s is a hugely exciting destination to be pouring 0,0 and creates the opportunity to offer sports fans great-tasting alcohol-free beers for occasions when alcohol isn’t preferred.”

Andy Muggleton, Assistant Secretary (Commercial) at MCC, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Carlsberg Marston’s by serving San Miguel’s 0,0 at Lord’s. The addition of a draught non-alcoholic lager to our bars will increase the top-class matchday experience that everyone, including those who prefer not to drink alcohol, can enjoy at the Ground.”

There are few clubs in the world that have made as big an impact on any sport as MCC has made on cricket. From its iconic ground in North London, MCC has led the game for over 200 years and helped take it from a national pastime to a global obsession. Everything we do is for the good of the game; from working with local communities to growing cricket’s global influence.
Founded in 1787, MCC is recognised as the sole authority on the game’s Laws. There are approximately 18,000 Full and 5,000 Associate Members of MCC.
At MCC’s heart is Lord’s, the Home of Cricket. Taking care over every detail, we’re dedicated to growing its reputation as the most celebrated and admired venue in cricket.
The first match ever played at ‘Lord’s Cricket Ground’ was in 1787, when businessman, Thomas Lord set up a new ground in what was then known as Dorset Fields. Moving twice since then, in 1811 and 1814, Lord’s Ground has resided at its current location in St John’s Wood for over 200 years.
