SEBRIGHT ARMS ANNOUNCES THEIR FIRST REAL ALE & ROCKIN’ BLUES FESTIVAL

Since relaunching in late 2011 under new ownership, the Sebright Arms is emerging as one of the most exciting new spaces and music venues in East London. On the weekend of 10th and 11th March, the pub will be hosting its first Sebright Arms Real Ale & Rockin’ Blues Festival, featuring over 20 barrels of London craft ale and music from Gaz Mayall of Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues.

Tucked behind Hackney Road, the Sebright Arms builds on a long tradition of entertainment whilst retaining all the attractions of an authentic local. The pub is at the centre of a cluster of new microbreweries in East London, with three opening up just last year (London Fields, Redchurch, and East London Brewery) and another – the Hackney Brewery just about to launch. The festival will be a great opportunity to sample all the new beers and get a sneak preview of some which are yet to launch. All the ales featured will be brewed by over 15 London brewers. Beers will be £2.50 for as long as stocks last.

Gaz Mayall of Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues will be providing the tunes. His long-running and much loved party promises to deliver the same trademark brand of party-starting music (on Saturday only).

The food will be supplied by the kitchen’s residents, Lucky Chip. Kicking off the year, Sebright Arms secured a partnership with Lucky Chip, one of the most talked-about burger outfits inLondon, who are running the kitchen, their first and only residency beyond their cult van in Netil Market.
