SEBRIGHT ARMS HOMEBREW LAUNCHES FEATURING COLLABORATIONS WITHLOCAL BREWERS, DESIGNERS AND ARTISTS

Label designed by Pure Evil

Launch party: 25 April at The Sebright Arms

Following The Sebright Arm’s re-launch in late 2011, with a critically acclaimed line up of live music acts, a fine array of real ales and ciders and a hugely successful collaboration with Lucky Chip burgers, they are excited to announce a new project- Sebright Arms Homebrew. Using a homebrewing kit, The Sebright Arms has created a nomadic, collaborative type of brewing. This ‘nano-brewing’ allows for beer to be brewed in very small batches, inviting experimentation and encouraging brewers to create more niche brews. The series launches with a partnership with Redchurch Brewery, an east London brewery that is a neighbour of the Sebright Arms.

For the first in the series, Redchurch Brewery will create a bespoke Black IPA with the artist Pure Evil, also an east London local. Pure Evil’s street art has become synonymous with the thriving underground art scene in east London, and he is a great champion of emerging artists and homegrown talent. His gallery is on Leonard Street in Shoreditch. He has worked closely with The Sebright Arms and Redchurch Brewery to create this Pure Evil Black IPA. The launch party for the Pure Evil brew will be at the Sebright Arms on 25 April; the beer will be on sale from this date. Consumers who want to attend the launch and try Pure Evil Black IPA for free can sign up to receive a bottle at the launch using the following link http://www.sebrightarms.co.uk/ale-launch-party.php

The next in the series will be a collaboration with local tattoo studio, Vagabond Tattoos. They have worked with The Sebright and Redchurch to create a label for Black Milk, a dark milk stout. There will be further collaborations as the project continues, including a partnership with The London Amateur Brewers (LAB) who have created a Coconut Porter.

The Sebright Arms is interested in working with local established and emerging talent, making connections within the area’s creative scene and bringing together the entrepreneurial spirit of local micro-breweries and the wealth of artistic talent to be found in east London.
