This year, Sharp’s is releasing five Limited Release brews that put a twist on traditional recipes and harness the creativity of the brand’s dynamic brewing team. By revisiting popular recipes, Sharp’s has developed an exciting new range, tailored to suit each season, while staying true to the brand’s accessible and drinkable mantra.

The latest addition to the limited release cask series is Cornish Winter, a full bodied milk stout with rich chocolate and coffee flavours, which leave a smooth finish. After brewing their first ever stout in 2011, this darker and richer brew is Sharp’s’ seasonal take on the original Cornish Stout. The 4.0% seasonal milk stout will be available at selected on-trade locations nationwide from 1st November through to the end of December.

Aaron McClure, Head Brewer at Sharp’s Brewery says: “This is the first Milk Stout we have produced here at Sharp’s. We have used our combined technical knowledge as a brewing team, along with experience we have gained from developing beers on our pilot brew kit, the ‘adventure lab’, to produce a smooth and deep Stout. A careful balance of flaked Oats and Lactose have been selected to create the smooth and sweet mouthfeel, which, along with the finest quality speciality chocolate and crystal malts, provide that dark character we love in stouts. Our Sharp’s ale yeast gives a clean aroma profile, and warming finish which is perfect for the cold winter months.”
