SkyBar signs exclusive three-year deal with korev lager

L-R: Lee Jasper (Sales Development Manager, St Austell Brewery), James Watson (Director, SkyBar) and Mark Stephens (Head of Regional Sales, St Austell Brewery).

St Austell Brewery’s flagship lager brand, korev (4.8% abv) has become an official event partner of SkyBar. The new three-year sponsorship deal will see the brand take centre stage at SkyBar events throughout the summer – from the Cornish coastal havens of Watergate Bay, Polzeath, and St Agnes, to locations across the wider South West including Croyde, Wells, and Chew Magna.

The brewery will also exclusively supply all SkyBar events with beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. The new contract includes also sampling for festival goers and korev brand activation.

SkyBar is a pop-up bar event which appears at stunning locations throughout the summer months. DJs, live music, al fresco food, stunning sunset views, fresh cocktails, and refreshing beer all come together to create the perfect aprés sea party atmosphere.

Mark Stephens, Head of Regional Sales, St Austell Brewery said: “We’re delighted to be signing an exclusive three-year deal with SkyBar.

“To unleash korev’s full potential, we invested in an exciting rebrand last year, inspired by the spirit of Cornwall and our connection to the coast. What better event to partner with than a series of summertime sessions, on the clifftops overlooking the ocean, in some of the West Country’s most beautiful spots.

“We can’t wait for the long-awaited festival season. Bring on the first event in Croyde in May!”

James Watson, Director, SkyBar said: “It’s been brilliant to be involved with the rebrand of Korev and we’re excited about the journey ahead for both brands, not to mention the partnerships we’ve formed with St Austell Brewery over the years. SkyBar will be releasing some big names in our line up throughout the South West in the coming weeks so watch this space!”

Brewed in the Helles style – with classic hops including Magnum, Hersbrucker and Saaz – korev is inspired by the shores and is as cool and crisp as a coastal breeze. In 2021 the lager unveiled a vibrant new rebrand inspired by its Cornish roots.
