St Austell Brewery partners with two local artists on new korev t-shirt collection

16th June 2023 – St Austell Brewery has partnered with two Cornwall-based artists on a new limited-edition t-shirt collection. Clara Jonas and Alastair Knowles-Lenoir (otherwise known as Hands For Feet) have created five designs between them, inspired by korev lager (4.8% abv) and the Cornish coast.

The t-shirts launched at Royal Cornwall Show last weekend and are now available to buy from St Austell Brewery’s Visitor Centre and online shop, for £25 each.

Clara Jonas is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer who is passionate about building community and connection amongst those who are helping invest in a better, more balanced and sustainable future. Her work is often inspired by the planet, the sea and the outdoors.

Alastair Knowles-Lenoir is an illustrator, printmaker and muralist. His quirky and colourful work takes inspiration from social interactions, urban culture and surfing.

Laura McKay, Marketing & Communications Director, St Austell Brewery said: “We’re delighted to partner with talented local artists like Clara and Alastair and play a part in promoting their fantastic work, which we know korev fans will love.

“All five t-shirts embody the essence of our flagship lager brand and really bring ‘the taste of the coast’ to life. The designs are perfectly suited to the laidback Cornish lifestyle which has helped shape korev over the years. We can’t wait to see people wearing them this summer.”

The new korev t-shirt range is now available from www.staustellbreweryshop.co.uk

Notes for editors:

About korev lager (4.8% abv):

Pale gold like the morning sun, fresh and crisp like a coastal breeze, full-on refreshment like waves crashing against our shores. This is the coast in a glass, drink it all in.

Born in Cornwall, the enchanting land of stunning coastlines, industrial heritage and life by the sea has helped shape korev. Brewed with a much as Cornish-grown barley we can get our hands on, korev (4.8% abv) is a Helles style lager with a wonderful pale colour and a clean, crisp taste.

korev is available in supermarkets nationwide.
