St Peter’s Brewery Scoops Top Soil Association Award

The team at St Peter’s Brewery is celebrating, having won the Best Organic Beer & Cider Award for its Organic Best Bitter in the Soil Association’s BOOM awards.

Proving its dedication to producing high-quality organic craft beers and meeting a consumer demand for a delicious and traceable product, the Organic Best Bitter was named winner in the Best Beer Category in the prestigious awards.

The Best of Organic Market Awards (BOOM) are an annual competition run by the Soil Association and are dedicated to finding and celebrating the amazing businesses producing, processing, serving, selling and delivering fully traceable food.

With a selection of high profile judges who taste and consider 100s of products in a vast numbers of categories, winning a BOOM award is a true achievement.

“We are delighted that our Organic Best Bitter has been named the best in the Beer category,” says Steve Magnall, CEO at St Peter’s Brewery. “Our organic beers form part of the lifestyle section of our range, which also includes gluten-free and alcohol-free, and they have always been incredibly popular. It is fantastic that the Organic Best Bitter has now been recognised in such a high-profile competition.”

St Peter’s Brewery produces two organic beers: Organic Best Bitter and Organic Ale. It is one of only a small handful or organic beer producers in the UK. Organic Best Bitter, the award-winning beer, can be found nationally in all Waitrose stores. Organic Ale is stocked on a regional basis in Morrisons and Tesco.
