Support you local brewery

The Brewers Association’s “Support Your Local Brewery” (SYLB) network is one of the most powerful tools in advancing small and independent brewer positions and interests with elected officials. When a local legislative issue that affects small brewers arises, individual SYLB beer activists mobilize in outreach and education, most often in concert with state brewers guilds and associations. In 2012 alone, SYLB has been mobilized 24 times in eight states to weigh in on legislation affecting small brewers.

Recently, SYLB found a new home at CraftBeer.com, the BA’s consumer-oriented website, and it sports a whole new look.  The new SYLB site contains a number of features to get users acquainted with the major legislative concerns for small and independent brewers, including an issues map, craft brewing statistics, and action alerts for the latest legislative news. Users can also utilize the brewery locator to find out which breweries are in their proximity.
