Entries are now being accepted for the 2025 Guild of Food Writers Awards for food and drink writing and broadcasting.
You do not need to be a member of The Guild of Food Writers to enter. You may nominate your own or someone else’s work.
A link to the online Awards entry form is available below. There is a separate entry form for each category which can be found by clicking on the relevant category.
There are 15 main awards categories:
- Cookery Book Previously General Cookbook
- Debut Cookery Book Previously First Book
- Food Book
- International or Regional Cookery Book
- Single Topic Cookery Book
- Specialist Cookery Book
- Newcomer
- Food Podcast or Broadcast
- Food Writer Previously Food Writing
- Cookery Writer Previously Recipe Writing
- Restaurant Writer Previously restaurant writing
- Drinks Writer Combining Drinks Writing and Drinks Book
- Investigative Food Writer
- Food Magazine or Supplement
- Self-Published Online Food Writer Previously Self-Published Writing
The closing date for completing entry forms for 2025 is Monday, 20 January 2025 and all materials must be with the judges by Monday, 10 February 2025.
The winners of each Award will be announced at The Guild of Food Writers Awards Ceremony in London on 18 June 2025.
