Join Ossett Brewery at The Hop in Sheffield for a celebration of South Yorkshire beer . Running from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd March, the beer festival will feature beers produced by South Yorkshire breweries on the main bar and a ‘Sheffield Showcase’ Festival Bar featuring brews from some of the city’s best breweries.
The focal point of the event will be a meet the brewer session on Saturday 2nd March. Beer festival-goers will get the rare chance to meet a host of Sheffield brewers together on this afternoon. The meet the brewer session will be an informal affair between 2pm and 5pm and live music is programmed throughout the afternoon including Sheffield band Thieving Lloyd Cole.
Samples of hops used within the brews will be available to “rub and sniff”.
Entry to the beer festival is free.
