At GBBF 2022, The Malt Miller exhibited for the first time at CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival and had an amazing time!
The event was a massive celebration of cask beer as ever, which is close to the heart of the team at The Malt Miller due to the part it’s played on founder, Rob Neale, in his beer loving journey. What the team discovered in 2022, was that there was significant interest from people attending the festival in all things home brewing related. Many existing customers were there and had the chance to meet representatives from The Malt Miller, but also there were many people who had never realised how accessible it is to make a start on the road to brewing great beer at home!
Located at the Discovery Bar, there was a steady flow of people interested in the brewing process and learning about the wonderfully diverse range of ingredients that go into beer. Due to the range of activities being run at the Discovery bar, those who made their way to the stand were engaged, excited and inquisitive about the process and ingredients that go into this much loved and diverse beverage.
Fast forward to 2023 and as a result of last year’s success, The Malt Miller will be back at GBBF this year but in a bigger and better way! Located at the core of the Discovery Bar, there will be more equipment on show for people to get hands on with, an enhanced offering of ingredients for people to discover from key suppliers in the brewing industry for people to fall in love with, and suppliers of premium equipment to brew at home!
There will be equipment to inspire people at all levels of both budget and experience, and team members from The Malt Miller will be on hand to help guide people towards the right way to either start brewing at home or take their hobby further. There will even the chance to try some of wonderful home brewed beer!
Long gone are the days of extract beer kits from the chemists and no matter where you want to start with home brewing, the team from The Malt Miller will have a solution for you. From modern and varied extract kits all the way through to the joy of brewing your own beer from all grain, just like the professionals, there is a way to start brewing great beer at home for everyone and a reason to come and see the Discovery Bar!
The Malt Miller focus and specialise on freshness in everything they do, malt crushed to order and made into bespoke recipe kits, hops which are stored cold with nitrogen flushed protective packaging plus a vast section of both dry and liquid yeast that suits every beer style.
Not only will the team from TMM be there to discuss all things home brew, but they are also working with some key partners for attendees to meet or experience ingredients from, such as BarthHaas Hops, Charles Faram Hops, Simpsons Malt, Crisp Malt and Grainfather home brewing equipment.
For customers of The Malt Miller, there is an exclusive offer for gaining entry to the event. Head over to The Malt Miller to read the full blog post and get access to this offer!
