Completely reimagined, The Paxton will boast a monthly rotation of street food specialities from around the world, as well as delightful takeover events from DJs to artists, plus creative workshops. The Paxton’s exciting new Autumn programme unites the most important aspects of the taphouse, bringing together only the best craft beers, delicious eats, spectacular entertainment and a sociable venue all into one space. Looking forward to welcoming in new guests, The Paxton hopes to change perceptions about what to expect from your local gastro pub.

No two visits to The Paxton will ever be the same. Designed by Michelin Plate winning executive chef Marcin Trykacz, the menu (quite literally) has it all. Diners can take a flavourful tour of the world with dishes inspired from street food around the globe. Vegans? The Paxton’s got you too, with a huge array of vegan specialities also available on the menu. Don’t forget the drinks…from craft beer, to spirts and cocktails, guests can take their pick from yet another wide and thirst-quenching selection.

Not only is the food bangin’, so is the entertainment. Sitting alongside their expansive food menu that takes in delights all over the world is a cultural programme of artists and DJs. Expect regular spectacular shows and the best tunes from the likes of Chris Tofu, Gem Precious and more that set the tune for the rest of the evening.

OCTOBER EVENTS

Friday 8th October, 8PM -1PM | VERSION EXCURSION: DJ CHRIS TOFU & FRIENDS
The festival pioneer DJ Chris Tofu will be joined by PAX NINDI and Sir Tall Will playing the best vintage remix to make the crowd dance all night.

Saturday 16th October, 8PM -1PM | DJ GEM PRECIOUS
A regular from the London Club scene Gem Precious will light up The Paxton with her famous multi-genre blending sets, energetic performance and quick mixing.

Friday 22nd October, 8PM -1PM | DJ NAV
A true ‘vinyl head’, DJ Nav will take over the decks with his fusion of soul, funk and rare grooves. Over the years Nav has developed the ability to fuse soulful sounds across all genres and styles, sometimes exploring the obscure and often testing the boundaries of many – attendees can expect to be surprised!

Sunday 24th October, 6.30pm -11.30pm | COMEDY AT THE PAXTON
Sunday October 24th sees the first ever stand-up comedy show to hit The Paxton. A hilarious night put together by Get Comedy – one of the leading comedy promoters and bookers in the UK. Headlining the show will be Ian Stone (Mock The Week, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and The World Stands-Up), joined by Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finalist and Welsh powerhouse Noel James, Jenny Collier who recently appeared on The Late-ish Show with Mo Gilligan and The Rhod Gilbert Show. And last but not least Crystal Palace resident John Fothergill. Tickets are £10 and can be booked here or £12.50 on the door.

Friday 29th October, 8pm-1pm | DJ OLI SUDZ
Olly Sudz is a DJ with an eclectic appetite for anything that makes you move. Drawing inspiration from recent finds, old favourites and a couple of surprises along the way – expect a classic selection of funk, soul, reggae and grooves full of positive energies and restorative sounds for fellow music lovers.

Saturday 30th October, 7pm-2am | HALLOWEEN PARTY
A frightful night of hair-raising bangers and party classics at south London’s favourite local haunt. Featuring tunes from Jamie Rodigan, Jodian Natty (Live), Arthi, Rob One and more.

The Paxton will continue to redefine what pub-goers can expect from their local. Supporting the community and making a difference is a key part of The Paxton ethos. In the coming months they will share charity initiatives and highlight local heroes and artists, celebrating work they are doing in the local community and giving them a well deserved shout out.
