Shout hallelujah, come on get hoppy! The White Horse on Parson’s Green is bringing back their Over The Hop Festival for the fourth year running. Kicking off on Friday 20th March, the three day beer-dedicated bonanza will pay tribute to the traditional brewing ingredients in all its hoppy glory. Beer-thusiasts can sample the finest selection of Blonde, Golden, Pale Ale & IPA beers currently being produced – taking in some of the most innovative examples of hops being used in the UK today. Justifiably famous for its beer, The White Horse offers an unrivalled range of regularly rotating cask ales and over 100 bottled beers including six of the seven varieties brewed by Trappist monks. This year’s festival includes a one off collaboration between Siren and the Vermont-based Hill Farmstead, new brewsfrom Upstairs Brewing, Redemption and Hackney Brewery, and a special casked ale from our friends at Brew By Numbers. Over The Hop Festival-goers will be able to sample a searing selection of char-grilled treats courtesy of The White Horse’s much-loved BBQ – available all day Saturday. Live music on 21st and 22nd will have the hoards a-hopping, especially on the Saturday when the pub will show the final three 6 Nations games! Notes to Editors
