Saturday 21st May will see the return of the popular Wild Beer Co. and Westcombe Dairy’s Beer and Cheese Festival held annually in the heart of Westcombe, Somerset.
The event which draws thousands of Beer & Cheese fans from all over the country offers an eclectic range of family friendly entertainment and showcases some of the finest farmhouse produce you will ever try! With over 50 different beers to try, with almost every conceivable style covered, there’s a beer for everyone. Even for non-beer lovers there will be a range of gins and soft drinks as well as cider and wine – we have everything covered!
The Wild Beer pop-up truck returns serving a wide range of Wild Beer Co’s beers as well as new and exclusives to try, brewed especially for the festival. Westcombe Dairy will be selling their trademark brick top cheese toasties using their own cave-aged cheddar from the infamous Westcombe cheese cave. Further amazing food offerings will also be provided including artisanal homemade Pizza’s from ‘Field to Fire’ and ‘The Thoroughly Wild Meat Co’ to name a few.
Not only will the day promise plenty of beer, cheese and action-packed family fun but there will be hourly tours and tastings of both the Brewery and Dairy which will be running throughout the day – your chance to meet the team behind the scenes! Music will be provided by ‘Blue Violet’, ‘Joe Strouzer’, ‘Jack Humphries’ … With Somersets very own ‘Absolutely Elton’ headlining the stage in the evening.
Be crowned ‘Champion Sausage Roll eater’ by participating in the ultimate sausage roll and beer challenge, a first for this year, celebrating the launch of ‘Roll with It’ – the perfect beer pairing with sausage rolls!
The whole family are welcome with entertainment for everyone so bring your kids, dogs (on leads) and all.

Westcombe Dairy – A small artisan Somerset dairy that makes traditional Cheddar and other West Country cheeses using unpasteurised milk from their own cows. Traditional cheeses include the multi award-winning Westcombe Unpasteurised Cheddar (including an iconic smoked Cheddar), Duckett’s aged Caerphilly, Somerset Ricotta.
