Peak District brewer, Thornbridge, have launched their annual Advent Calendar with sustainability paramount in their minds. In a bid to cut down on all of the various print processes which are incredibly laborious and energy intensive, Thornbridge have come up with a creative design using sustainably sourced, fully recyclable and bio-degradable raw cardboard with simple but effective water based ink colour and cut-outs to add a festive sprinkle to a scene from the beautiful Peak District.
Furthermore, the individual Advent Calendar beer boxes can be assembled day by day to create a Christmas table decoration depicting some of the recreational sports and pastimes of the Peak District as seen on their new glassware.
Once Christmas is over for 2023, the individual boxes can be repacked in to the outer box and stored away until next year when Thornbridge will send the 2024 ‘refill’ beers at a considerably reduced rate to re-use the Advent Calendar packaging.
The Advent Calendar starts with a special gift on day one as well as 25 beers including 12x330ml, 5x440ml, 6x500ml and 2x375ml Barrel Aged beers! It is available as an ‘Early Bird’ offer for £79.00 (including delivery) whilst stocks last using the discount code EBADV on checkout on their online shop.
