In 2023 Thornbridge designed a brand-new Sustainable Advent Calendar, created with the aim that people who bought it would be able to re-use it for years to come. That means those who brought it last year will be able to buy just a pack of beers and re-fill, or do so for a loved one.
The calendar has been made using sustainably sourced, fully recyclable, and bio-degradable raw cardboard with simple but effective water-based ink colour and cut-outs to add a festive sprinkle to a scene for the beautiful Peak District.
The calendar has also been shortlisted in the 2024 packaging awards in the Corrugated /online & consumer goods category.
It will be available on the Thornbridge Website from the start of September 2024 with deliveries being made in November so people have them ready for the start of December. The options will be a new calendar with all the beers already packaged, or the opportunity to purchase just the beers and re-use the calendar from last year.
