TRY BEFORE YOU BUY FOR CASK ALE WEEK …and sign up for a free pint!

National Cask Ale week begins on September 28th, and in honour of this annual event which celebrates the quality and diversity of our national drink, Wadworth is offering customers the chance to ‘try before they buy’. This offer will apply in all Wadworth managed houses across Wadworthshire which covers ten counties in the South and West of England.

“Cask ale week is about introducing people to the exciting world of cask ale, with all its variety, quirkiness and fullness of flavour,” says Wadworth Brand Manager Christine Evers. “Cask ale is undergoing something of a renaissance at the moment, with a surge in popularity that recognises the locality and individuality of this fresh, living product. We would like people to experiment a little and enjoy some of the seasonal and more unusual ales brewed lovingly by our talented team of brewers.

“Don’t worry if you haven’t tried cask ale before, this is your chance to try it for free, and discover for yourself what everyone is talking about. Customers will be able to enjoy a taste of whichever pint they like the look of at any of our Managed Houses during Cask Ale Week. This way they can be sure they are buying a pint they are going to enjoy.”

As an additional Cask Ale week offer, if you introduce a friend to cask ale, you will both get a FREE pint! See details at http://ww.wadworthdata.co.uk/caskaleweek/

Among the choices on offer in the pubs during Cask Ale Week will be the Autumn seasonal ale Malt & Hops, the original green hop beer which is now celebrating 20 years since the first pint was brewed by Wadworth. It is a very full flavoured ale with a zingy spiciness and refreshing taste.

Also gracing the bars will be Farmer’s Glory, Wadworth’s tribute to the agricultural industry, enjoyed during Harvest time and full of nutty, malty flavours.

“Cask Ale week is a celebration of real ale – the living beer that can only bought and properly enjoyed fresh from the cask at the pub,” explains Christine. “We at Wadworth are proud brewers of real ale and hope that Cask Ale week will encourage lots more people to discover the delights of a proper pint.”
