Tuesday Beer Club is back after a summer hiatus and returns to its new home at The Yorkshire Hotel, Harrogate on September 6th promising a night of fun, fine food and some of Italy’s best beers.
With unsurpassed views across Harrogate, the Skybar on the 5th floor of The Yorkshire Hotel is the venue for September’s Beer Club as Peroni – the classic Italian beer which was created with passion in 1846 by Giovanni Peroni – takes up residence, bringing a taste of Italy to north Yorkshire.
Guests will be welcomed with a refreshing Peroni Nastro Azzurro before taking a seat for a two course menu by Group Executive Head Chef Richard Ferebee designed to perfectly pair with the beer on offer.
The evening begins with a traditional sharing platter of Antipasto – a selection of the finest cheeses, meats, olives, anchovies, marinated charred vegetables and more, matched with a Peroni Red.
The star of the evening is without doubt the main event; a Whole Shoulder of Roasted Lamb served with a Tuscan Bean Stew which is expertly paired with a Peroni Grand Reserva.
A selection of sides, designed to be served family style, will be on offer too; including an Italian dressed salad and Ricotta salata.
Following dinner in the Skybar guests are invited to The Pickled Sprout, on the ground floor of the hotel to continue their evening, should they wish, with Peroni Nastro Azzurro on offer.
Tuesday Beer Club is on Tuesday September 6th at 6pm and costs £30 per person, all inclusive.
