Two Tribes is becoming one of the fastest-growing brands in the market, supporting creative communities whilst brewing great beer.
Born from London’s counter-culture scene, when dance music took off from bedroom-musicians record pressing, Two Tribes derives its name from its core aim, to bring creative communities together within modern culture. They believe in bringing together unique perspectives and talents to create something authentic and innovative.
Two Tribes is a beer brand that shows no sign of slowing down, with August this year marking their biggest month yet. Two Tribes sold a staggering 400,000 pints in the first two weeks of August; more beer than they sold in the whole of 2019!
Founded in 2017 by Justin Deighton, a DJ and Producer renowned for his contributions to London’s 90s club-culture movement and the Balearic party scene, Two Tribes has creativity at its core. Partnered with Leo Zero, his long-time collaborator from the world of music, they channel their obsessive passion into everything they do.
Justin Deighton, founder of Two Tribes, said “Our vision is simple. We believe in the power of beer, music and art to enrich our individual lives and strengthen communal bonds. Beer and music culture is adopted by many brands, but not all have the authenticity to carry it through and give beer drinkers the reason to believe. Our mission is to build a global brand that uses the power of different creative communities to expand the horizons of beer, and those drinking it.”
Two Tribes takes pride in crafting high-quality beers designed to inspire and spark curiosity. More than just what’s in the can or the glass, their focus is on the people who come together to create it. The brand also has a huge sustainability focus, with infinitely recyclable cans, 100% re-useable or recyclable kegs and completely recyclable packaging. The brand even plants 25 trees in threatened rainforests on all website orders over £50.
“Curiosity” isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the essence of the Two Tribes brand and central to their ethos. It’s the strong desire to know or learn something new that fuels their experimentation, combinations, partnerships, and creative collaborations. Every interaction with the Two Tribes brand is an opportunity to discover something unique, whether that’s a new beer style, a fresh music mix, an intriguing ingredient, a reference in their artwork, or an unexpected collaboration.
Whether it’s blending ingredients or ideas, creating music or artwork (just take a look at their eye-catching cans), Two Tribes is always hungry for what’s next. This drive leads them to collaborate with a diverse range of artists, from musicians to Michelin-starred chefs, who share their vision of unity through beer, music, food, and art. Notable collaborations and partnerships include Virgin Atlantic, Eurostar, The Standard Hotel, Central Saint Martins and Voices Radio.
Two Tribes already have a huge range of accolades under their belt, including bagging SILVER at the World Beer Awards for their Dream Factory Pale Ale, SILVER at SIBA for Electric Circus, the ‘Innovation Award’ at the British Business Awards and ‘Best Overall Can Design’ in the UK from SIBA – along with many more.
