Alcohol-free craft beer brand, UNLTD., has been recognised at the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce annual business awards ceremony. The Hertford-based business picked up the Most Promising New Business award at this year’s Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards, held at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden in June 2022.
The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards were launched in 2012 to focus on and celebrate the expertise, achievements and outstanding contribution that businesses and individuals continually make to the growth of the county. The awards enable Hertfordshire businesses to showcase their performance and achievements to clients, customers, suppliers, stakeholders and all of the Hertfordshire business community.
Despite launching during the global pandemic when the hospitality sector was predominantly closed, UNLTD. has continued to go from strength to strength, expanding its range of beers and exceeding crowd-funding campaign targets, resulting in a 133% YTD revenue growth since May 2021.
Briege Leahy, CEO of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “This is a growing sector and the business seems well placed to take advantage; there is lots of great potential. UNLTD’s branding is slick and the product is inviting – I am keen to try it.”
Johnny Johnson, the founder of UNLTD, said: “We are extremely delighted and grateful to be awarded this prestigious award. Our beers have won numerous awards for their taste and design but this is our first business recognition award and one which shows the promise of our exciting new business.”
UNLTD was praised for its low-calorie nutritious beers, which are rich in vitamins B6 and B12, low in sugar, vegan friendly and gluten-free. The already award-winning brand is sold to pubs, restaurants and retailers as well as being available to purchase online via its website at www.unltd.beer and Amazon.
