We can’t hear you. You’re On Mute! Greene King launches video call inspired beer ‘You’re On Mute’

Greene King, the UK’s leading managed pub company and brewer has launched its latest seasonal beer, ‘You’re On Mute,’ inspired by the video calling world of the last 12 months.

Whether it was online quizzes with your friends, family catch ups or online meetings with colleagues, how many times was this phrase muttered over the past year?! We have all been guilty of forgetting we were on mute!

This Amber Pale Ale signifies the recent reopening of pubs and is a nod to the difficulties of the past year but now a look to brighter times ahead.

Brewed with five different malts for a rich body and biscuit sweetness, You’re On Mute has a zingy taste of tropical fruits with fresh Citrus notes.

Developed by the expert brewing team in Bury St Edmunds, Head Brewer Ross O’Hara said: “It always great to have a bit of fun with our seasonal beers and You’re On Mute is a name that I am sure the whole nation can relate to.

“Of course, it is just as important for our beers to taste brilliant and this beer does just that. This 4.2% Amber Pale is extremely drinkable and gave our exceptional brewing team the opportunity to brew something slightly different to the norm.

“I hope everyone gets down to their local in the next few weeks to enjoy this seasonal offering now that the Pub Is Back.”
