Wells & Young’s to bring two new beers and an exclusive brew to The Great British Beer Festival

The Wells & Young’s bar is one not to be missed at this year’s Great British Beer Festival (GBBF). Set against the back drop of the famous Bombardier bus the Bedfordshire brewer’s bar will boast an impressive line-up of nine cask ales at the CAMRA festival ranging from national favourites through to quirky seasonals.

There will also be two new beers available and first up is McEwan’s IPA, as the much-loved Scottish beer brand makes its first appearance at GBBF on the Wells & Young’s bar. The beer is the newest launch from McEwan’s as part of a large-scale rejuvenation of the brand.

Wells & Young’s will also be taking along the full range from the Bombardier stable. The classic version will be joined by the new cask golden variant Bombardier Burning Gold and for the first time ever, Bombardier Reserve which has been brewed as a cask beer exclusively for the festival.

The team will also be pulling pints of the current Wells & Young’s summer seasonal Hummingbird which sold out last year as well as premiering the brand new pump clip for its honey flavoured August/ September seasonal ale Waggle Dance.

Emily Hudson, Marketing Manager at Wells & Young’s said: “This is our largest and most varied GBBF bar yet and really showcases the diversity of our beer range. As a GBBF exclusive, we’ll have the entire Bombardier range available on cask and are excited to debut the latest beer from McEwan’s too as we look to bring the Scottish brand’s revival to drinkers south of the border.

“This is all alongside trusted favourites from the Young’s and Courage ranges and our seasonal beers including the ever popular tropical ale Hummingbird- so there really is something for everyone!”

The Great British Beer Festival is running from 12-16th August at London’s Olympia. You can keep up to date with everything that’s happening at the Wells & Young’s bar on Twitter at @wellsandyoungs and there’ll also be loads going on with Bombardier’s social media too so follow @Bombardier_beer and facebook.com/bombardier.beer to get involved!
