We’re three weeks away from Wimbledon Beer Fest!
Bringing you the best of the best independent, craft breweries from around the UK. “Indy not industrial” as we like to say.
For all you craft-loving folks we will have crafty beers from the following breweries:
Two Flints, Burning Sky, Longman, Ideal Day, Kernel, Azvex, Track, Villages…why these breweries?
They are not only some of the leading UK craft breweries, but they are also all fully independent and scarcely seen on draught all together. We are taking the opportunity to celebrate the whole gorgeous lot of them.
Max Eisenhardt, curator of the festival beer list and Brewery sales manager said of the producers on show “First of all Ideal Day. An exciting new brewery based in Cornwall, started by James and Nia Rylance. The beers contain regeneratively grown wheat, and really twist and bend ‘beer styles’ to their absolute limit. Lagered, Ester-rich – do not miss their beers, Less Haste and Further Afield.”
Across a wide range of keg craft beers festival goers will get the chance to try IPA’s, Pales, Saison, NEIPA, Table Beer, Stout, double dry hopped monsters and clean crisp Pilsner.
Then we have a very exciting section of any quality Beer Festival: the CASK section. Kernel Brewery are another brewer represented. Max added “The mighty KB – needs no introductions. I just love how much body, roundness and balance you get with their beers. Really looking forward to their new Small Pale in cask – it’s seldom seen!”
Amongst a range of 15 plus cask beers will be classics from Wye Valley and Palmers then there will be some rarities from the likes of Long Man brewery. Worthy of a special mention is a range of special one-off blended cask beers.
For food there are fresh wraps and BBQ from the Brathaus boys of London and boutique cheese boards from Local Cheese Cave.
On top of all of that there is cider, from Against the Grain Cidery, Wimbledon Gin cocktails, Wine and gluten-free beers complete the drinks list. Come nightfall our DJ will be playing the best tunes from our upstairs container unit to the crowds below.
Doors open from midday Friday, Saturday, Sunday – join us in raising a glass to celebrate the greatest drink on earth – BEER!–
ENDS –
