On Monday 26th June, Bristol’s Wiper and True release one of their most popular seasonal beer releases: Sunset Dreams. A limited edition sour beer inspired by margarita cocktails on long sunny evenings, Sunset Dreams is a 5.0% Rhubarb Margarita Gose, brewed annually.
Speaking about the beer launch, Wiper and True’s Head of Marketing Alice Howells said:
“We really look forward to the launch of Sunset Dreams each year, and our drinkers certainly seem to, too – it’s probably the beer that we get the most rebrew requests for! We think it’s probably to do with the balance of flavours; it’s all about contrasts and interactions between the different ingredients. There’s subtle, soft rhubarb, playing against a zesty kick from lime. Then there’s pronounced tartness from a twenty-four hour long kettle souring, with balanced salinity from Maldon sea salt. It’s just instant refreshment in a glass; perfect for a long summer’s evening.”
Sunset Dreams will be available in pubs and venues nationwide and across Bristol, as well as at Wiper and True’s own taprooms in Old Market and St Werburghs. The beer can also be purchased online directly through Wiper and True’s website: https://wiperandtrue.com/

About Wiper and True
Wiper and True are an independent craft brewery based in Bristol. Their focus is on creating refined, carefully considered beer in the most sustainable way possible. The business started life in 2012, with three friends creating homebrew beer on their kitchen stovetops. Over the next few years the trio produced beer nomadically, brewing through the night and at weekends at breweries across the country. In 2015 Wiper and True built their own brewery in Bristol, where they brewed for the next seven years, before expanding into an additional bespoke new brewery and 500-person capacity taproom in Old Market, Bristol, in July 2022.
