Woodforde’s host popular Christmas market and introduce favourite seasonal beer ‘Tinsel Toes’

Woodforde’s, the award-winning Norfolk-based brewery, will be opening its gates to the public for its annual Christmas market on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December 2017.  Visitors can learn about the Woodforde’s beers, attend guided brewery tours and sample the range, including the festive Tinsel Toes.  Shoppers will also be able to purchase food, drink and gifts from other local artisan producers.

 

More than just a great day out, the free, annual event provides visitors with the chance to buy festive gifts such as, Woodforde’s hampers and NOG-infused Christmas puddings, as well as the region’s finest produce, from cured meats to wines, chutneys to cheeses, and a variety of different foods.

 

Local carol-singing choirs will add to the festive mood whilst visitors enjoy Woodforde’s brewery tap, The Fur and Feather, which will be serving Archers award-winning sausages and, Woodforde’s and Walsingham Pies along with other customer favourites.

 

Local producers attending include: Candi’s Chutney, Charlie’s Norfolk Food Heroes, Crush Foods, Green Farm Coffee, Pell & Co Gin, The Norfolk Sloe Gin Company, Wild Knight Vodka and Winbirri Wines.

 

The event will support the brewery’s nominated charity, Nelson’s Journey, a local charity dedicated to supporting bereaved children and young people throughout Norfolk.  Representatives from the charity will have a fund-raising stall at the market.

 

 

James Hughes, CEO of Woodforde’s comments: “Last year over 4,000 people visited our Christmas Market weekend and we anticipate even greater numbers this time round. The event is seen as a ‘one stop shop’ for Christmas supplies and showcases some of our regions finest products”.

 

Woodforde’s Christmas Ale, Tinsel Toes, is a ruby ale with an ABV of 4.4%.

Available in 500ml bottles and home-brew kits from the brewery shop; in cask via the brewery, and in home-brew kits from selected retailers including Amazon and Wilko.

Times: Saturday (9am – 5pm). Sunday (10am – 4pm).
