Armadale Community Pub Reopens Following Transformational Investment
Popular community pub, The Regal on West Main Street, officially reopened on Tuesday 15th September, following a combined investment of £100,000 from experienced licensee, Chris Pollock, and Admiral Taverns, the UK’s leading community pub company.
The refurbishment has breathed a new lease of life into The Regal to elevate and modernise the overall look and feel of the pub – ultimately enabling the licensee to further cement it as the go-to community hub for local customers.
Internally, the pub has been refurbished to include brand-new fixtures, flooring and fittings throughout – as well as two brand-new darts boards in the games area, along with an updated lounge and bar area. The pub also includes five 65-inch flatscreen televisions for customers to enjoy.
Externally, the pub features brand-new lighting and signage along with new benches in the beer garden which can accommodate up to 25 people at the back and 25 people at the front of the pub.
Passionate licensee, Chris, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the pub having worked in the hospitality sector for the past eight years. Going forward he is committed to creating a dog and family friendly hub that brings people together and supports all aspects of community life.

Going forward, Chris will be hosting a busy schedule of regular entertainment for the community to enjoy including live music taking place on a regular basis on a Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm onwards. He will also host the local darts team on Wednesday evenings, the Dominos team on Monday evenings, and bingo on Thursday evenings. On the last Friday of every month the pub will also host a quiz starting from 7pm. In addition, as part of his mission to giving back to the local community, he will also be hosting regular fundraising events/community initiatives to raise money for Erskine Veterans Charity.
Following the refurbishment, the pub now hosts an impressive range of drinks including Guinness, Cruzcampo, Magners and much more. The pub will also be offering jägerbombs for £2.95 from Tuesday-Thursdays every week from 7pm.
