Atlas Copco to showcase new brewery nitrogen skid system at Brewers Congress 2026

Atlas Copco will showcase its new BREW N2 8-130 skid system at The Brewers Congress 2026, demonstrating how breweries can produce food and beverage grade nitrogen on-site for applications throughout the production process. The company will also present its process filtration, compressed air and process cooling technologies on Stand 102 at Big Penny Social, London, on 29 and 30 September.


Developed specifically for breweries, the BREW N2 skid is an all-in-one system that connects directly to an existing compressed air supply. Its components are pre-assembled, integrated and tested, simplifying installation and giving breweries greater control over the availability, purity and quality of their nitrogen.


“The BREW N2 package brings the generation, drying, filtration, polishing, storage and control equipment together on one skid. This gives breweries a practical way to establish a reliable nitrogen supply without having to specify and integrate each component separately,” said Andrew Butler, Business Development Manager for Industrial Gases at Atlas Copco UK.


The BREW N2 skid system combines an Atlas Copco NGP+ pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator with a refrigeration dryer, multi-stage filtration, a proprietary nitrogen polisher and a food-grade sterile filter. Air and nitrogen buffer vessels are also included, together with an Elektronikon Touch controller for system control and remote monitoring. Nitrogen purity can be monitored and recorded by batch, supporting traceability and compliance with food and beverage requirements.


A compact NGPs 9 nitrogen generator will be displayed on the stand, giving visitors a closer look at the pressure swing adsorption technology used to separate nitrogen from compressed air. Designed for low-flow nitrogen requirements, the NGPs range provides a stable supply at a controlled purity and can be connected to an existing compressed air network.


Atlas Copco will also exhibit examples from its brewery process filtration range. . Visitors will be able to discuss how factors including contaminant load, flow rate, cleaning arrangements and the required level of microbial control should inform the choice of pre-filters, trap filters and sterile membrane filters.


The company’s wider brewery offering includes oil-free compressed air for applications such as aeration, product transfer, bottling and packaging, together with process cooling systems for wort cooling, fermentation and other temperature-sensitive production stages. By considering these utilities together, breweries can identify opportunities to improve process control, maintain product consistency and use energy more effectively.
