Attic Brew Co. Unleashes Paranoid - A Tribute to Birmingham’s Rock Legends Black Sabbath, with Beer, Limited Edition T-Shirt and a Sabbath Themed Night At The Barrel Store.

Updated: Jun 27

BIRMINGHAM, UK - Attic Brew Co. is proud to announce the release of Paranoid, a brand new 5% black lager brewed in tribute to Birmingham’s legendary Black Sabbath. Smooth, rich, and dark, Paranoid is a tribute to the band who created heavy metal, and the Birmingham roots that shaped their sound.

Paranoid black lager is available in cans from the Attic Brew Co. website, at their Stirchley taproom, and at their bar, The Barrel Store in the Jewellery Quarter. It will also be pouring exclusively on draft at both bars from Friday 4th July. In addition, Paranoid cans are now available at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery as part of the Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero exhibition

To mark the occasion, Attic is dropping a limited run of Sabbath-inspired T-shirts, available on their website and at The Barrel Store, with a portion of proceeds going to Metal For Good, a charity using music to create positive change in communities. Designed with die-hard fans and beer lovers in mind, the shirts are a wearable celebration of Brum’s musical legacy.

The celebrations culminate on Friday 4th July with a full-blown Sabbath-themed night at The Barrel Store. Expect Paranoid on tap, classic Sabbath tunes, Brummie beer lovers, and top-notch food from Deathrow Pizza. It’s the perfect warm-up for the big Sabbath event happening in the city that weekend.

“We’re really proud of Birmingham’s heritage - from its industrial roots to its incredible cultural and musical legacy,” said Jo from Attic Brew Co. “Black Sabbath have inspired many, and we think that deserves a proper celebration - with great beer, tasty pizza, good friends, and one hell of a party.”

Whether you’re coming for the craft beer, as a Sabbath superfan, or just in it for the tunes and the T-shirt, this is one for the Brum history books.
