Beer list for "Indie Beer Cymru" is biggest selection of Welsh beers available anywhere

ree

Wales' newest beer festival has today revealed the full lineup of breweries and beers on offer - and it's the biggest selection of Welsh independent beers available anywhere.

The brand new beer festival is coming to Haverfordwest next week, featuring a huge range of beers from independent breweries from across Wales in a broad range of styles: From traditional cask bitters and stouts, to modern keg beers, IPAs and lagers.

Indie Beer Cymru is taking place on Friday the 19th and Saturday 20th September and is being organised by Welsh brewers from the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates, building on the success of the hugely popular Indie Beer Scotland event in Glasgow - which took place last week. The festival is the latest from the Indie Beer campaign, which seeks to highlight genuinely independent breweries across the UK, campaign spokesperson Neil Walker had this to say;

“Indie Beer Cymru is unique in only offering beers from genuinely independent breweries not linked to the Global beer companies or lager producers, so not only will you get to try the very best beers from Wales but you know you're supporting local businesses run by real people. The Indie Beer campaign is about celebrating great beer and supporting small businesses run by great people - so come along next week and try the best beers Wales has to offer!"

The beer festival will follow the judging of the Indie Beer Awards Cymru, allowing festival-goers the chance to be the first to try the official best beers in Wales. Winners will be announced across a range of style categories, as well as an Overall Champion – the very best of the best in the competition. Winners from the awards will be served at the festival and go on to the National UK-wide Finals early next year.
