Belgium Beer Week 2025

Belgium Beer Week enjoyed its most successful year to date with 142 venues from 15 countries worldwide taking part. The UK was particularly successful with 26 bars and taprooms hosting Belgian themed events during the past week of August.

Paul Davies, founder of award winning Alehunters and the UK ambassador for BBW said 'It's hugely encouraging to see so many UK participants this year, many for the first time. For the second time the UK has participated with the second highest number of venues behind Belgium. An excellent result!'

Belgium Beer Week is part of a non-profit Beer Idiots vzw, which publishes interviews and news on Belgian beer culture and beer culture globally. We are working with our partners to spin off Belgium Beer Week as a transparent, independent entity that coordinates this annual celebration of Belgian beer culture and its UNESCO designation. Funding is provided by Visit Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region.
