Brew York announces exciting nationwide listing with Morrisons

Brew York is delighted to announce a brand-new nationwide supermarket listing with Morrisons, bringing a series of exciting new beers to shelves across the country.

At the heart of this launch is a fresh take on a Brew York classic: Tonkoko. Known as the brewery’s multi-award-winning milk stout, Tonkoko is infused with lashings of coconut, vanilla, and South American tonka beans, delivering a luxuriously indulgent chocolatey character that has become a true favourite among craft beer fans.

For this special Morrisons release, Brew York presents Salted Caramel Tonkoko – inspired by the timeless pairing of sweet caramel and a hint of salt. Built on the familiar Tonkoko base, this variation layers in rich salted caramel to create a smooth, comforting stout with an indulgent edge.

Available for a limited time only, Salted Caramel Tonkoko marks the first in an exciting series of Tonkoko flavour twists Brew York will be unveiling throughout the year at Morrisons.

In addition, Morrisons customers will also be able to enjoy two new beers from Brew York’s Nine Realms Series, a collection created to mark the brewery’s nine-year journey and inspired by the legendary realms of Norse mythology.

Odin’s Gaze, brewed in collaboration with Fierce Beer, pays homage to Asgard - home of the Aesir gods and the great hall of Odin. This New England IPA bursts with bold hops, delivering waves of juicy grapefruit, ripe peach, and tropical fruits.

Freyr’s Bounty is created in collaboration with Kelham Island Brewery, and celebrates Alfheim, the radiant realm of the Bright Elves. This refreshing Session IPA shines with vibrant notes of pineapple and pine, capturing the creativity and beauty of its mythical inspiration.

All three beers – Salted Caramel Tonkoko, Odin’s Gaze, and Freyr’s Bounty – will be available in Morrisons supermarkets nationwide from Monday 29th September.

Brew York was founded in 2016 by friends Wayne Smith and Lee Grabham. Starting in 2016, as many other craft breweries were beginning their journey, creating Brew York was the realisation of a long-lived dream to build a brewery in York’s bustling centre with a popular on-site Tap Room, creating a destination where it felt welcoming and inviting to enjoy the beer (and other drinks) right next to the tanks they were brewed in.

All Brew York’s beer is brewed in York, some in their original city centre brewhouse, and now a lot of the beer is brewed 10 minutes up the road in their state-of-the-art production facility in Osbaldwick.
