Damm launches an alcohol-free taste of the MediterraneanEstrella Damm 0.0% the beer of Barcelona

July 2025 This Summer Damm is launching an alcohol-free taste of the Mediterranean: Estrella Damm 0.0%. It’s a premium non-alcoholic beer offering the same refreshing taste and character as our iconic Estrella Damm lager just now with the alcohol removed.

From now, the product will be rolled out across the UK on-trade hospitality venues and off-trade retailers (currently available in Sainsburys) - for customers to enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean, following the growing demand for non-alcoholic options in the UK.

Drawing upon its expertise in brewing alcohol-free varieties since 2003, Damm has pioneered a technique to ensure that all alcohol is removed. To preserve the signature taste, after the special yeast is added to cause natural fermentation, the alcohol is gently removed through advanced vacuum distillation, while a unique process restores the aromatic components often lost in traditional methods of making non-alcoholic beer.

Estrella Damm 0.0% benefits from Damm’s brewing heritage, without compromising on taste, craftsmanship, or quality with its transparent amber hue, golden highlights and light foam; it is clean & bright with long-lasting fine bubbles.

The light Mediterranean style of Estrella Damm 0.0% comes from the use of rice in the brewing process which contributes to the beer's refreshing and distinctive taste, which pairs well with food.

For over 20 years we have been experts in brewing non-alcoholic beers in Spain to the same high standards as our other Damm beers. We have been able to lean on these technological and quality specialists to bring the taste of the Mediterranean to the UK at 0.0% to give consumers more choice, including draught!”

Estrella Damm 0.0% will be available on draught in selected on-trade venues, including Youngs pubs in London. It is available now in 4x440ml can packs in Sainsbury’s, with further grocery outlets, major retailers and supermarkets to follow soon.
