Erdinger Alkoholfrei Launches Campaign to Get Active in 2026

ree

ERDINGER Alkoholfrei has broken with tradition by launching a campaign encouraging consumers to adopt a healthy lifestyle and get active at the start of the New year. It steps away from the customary drinks industry focus on just cutting back on alcohol in January and supports the brand’s reputation as the sporty thirst quencher.

The ‘Get Active with ERDINGER Alkoholfrei’ campaign will run on 500,000 neck collars carried on promotional 500ml bottles of the Bavarian low-alcohol speciality drink which will be available in pubs, bars, supermarkets and off-licences*. The campaign launches on 29th December 2025 and will continue until 8th March 2026, or until stocks last. Participants have the chance to win one of 35 sports boxes every week, each containing a range of equipment to help kick-start an active routine.

Peter Gowans, UK Country Manager of ERDINGER Alkoholfrei explained “ERDINGER Alkoholfrei has always extolled the benefit of maintaining a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet and exercise to create long-term wellbeing rather than relying on the short-term psychological boost of giving up alcohol for a month. Its support of mass participation events around the country, such as triathlons, marathons and cycling sportives, continues to help participants achieve a positive balance in their lives by combining their favourite thirst-quencher as part of an active lifestyle. With its isotonic properties helping to replace lost fluids after exercise, ERDINGER Alkoholfrei is the perfect companion for anyone planning to adopt a healthier way of life In 2026.”

The campaign has been kept as simple as possible to minimise any barriers that might deter people from entering as sometimes happens with New Year’s resolutions. It simply requires purchasers to visit a bespoke website, input a unique code found on the neck collar and wait to hear if they have won one of that weeks’ boxes before they start working out. The boxes contain an ERDINGER towel and sport bottle, a Blackroll mini, a Blackroll ball 08, one FLEXVIT revolve resistance band and mini resistance band, and an instruction book. A companion app enables everyone – not just the winners – to access a series of free workout tutorials to complete the toolkit needed to get active and power up their exercise regime.

“Only the finest natural ingredients are used for brewing ERDINGER Alkoholfrei” continued Peter Gowans” and as its spicy malt notes harmonise perfectly with caramel-sweet nuances, so its isotonic properties makes it an excellent choice for anyone who wants a well-balanced and deliciously tasty drink to accompany their active lifestyle. Many people make unrealistic New Year’s resolutions, so the support provided by ERDINGER Alkoholfrei to get active is a practical way of helping to keep the momentum going. This ensures that a healthy lifestyle isn’t just something that people aspire to in the first month of the year and ERDINGER Alkoholfrei is proud to be at the heart of helping people to change their routine and getting into good habits in 2026.”

The Get Active with ERDINGER Alkoholfrei promotion runs from 29th December 2025 until 8th March 2026 or until stocks last.

NOTES TO EDITORS

About ERDINGER Alkoholfrei - The sporty thirst-quencher

ERDINGER Alkoholfrei, the non-alcoholic beer with isotonic properties, is a true multi-talent. Spicy malt notes harmonise excellently with caramel-sweet nuances. Enjoyment is enhanced by the stimulating bitterness of our aroma hops and a hint of light, fruity acidity. This is rounded out by finely sparkling carbonic acid.

Isotonic drinks have the same so-called osmotic pressure (approx. 290 mOsmol/kg) as human blood, i.e. they have the same concentration of dissolved particles. As a result, the concentration of such drinks does not first need to be compensated by the body and the ingredients can be absorbed immediately and enter the bloodstream. ERDINGER Alkoholfrei also contains vitamins B9 and B12 which promote the normal functioning of the body’s immune system. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important and ERDINGER Alkoholfrei supports these choices.
