ERDINGER Alkoholfrei, the sporty thirst quencher, has created a three-stage competition platform to appeal to triathletes and the healthy lifestyle community, with an array of excellent prizes awaiting successful entrants. Instead of the familiar triathlon trio of swim, cycle and run, participants simply have to purchase, scan and enter to have a chance of winning prizes from some of the biggest names in endurance sport including Ribble, Garmin and HUUB. Peter Gowans, UK Country Manager for ERDINGER explained “Our popular neck collar promotion is back on 500ml bottles of ERDINGER Alkoholfrei until 2nd June* and rewards shoppers with the chance to win sport-related prizes. They simply have to PURCHASE a 500ml bottle of ERDINGER Alkoholfrei with a neck collar, SCAN the collar QR code and ENTER the promotional code displayed along with their details. Thirty prizes will be allocated to winning entries submitted, with x10 Ribble Gravel AL-Enthusiast Bikes, x10 Garmin Forerunner 265 Smartwatches and x10 HUUB Agilis wetsuits available to win. “The quality and value of these prizes is already creating a stir as they are so highly sought after amongst anyone with an active lifestyle, so we are expecting a high volume of entries” continued Peter. “We know that many people choose ERDINGER Alkoholfrei as their ritual after sport or exercise, as its isotonic properties help them to replace lost fluids quickly, but to reach the pinnacle of their athletic achievements, they need to have the right preparation, application and equipment. By partnering with some of the biggest brands in the world of endurance sport, we are offering 30 people the chance to gain an extra edge during training or competition by giving away the best equipment possible. “A similar promotion in 2024 helped drive a +5% sales uplift during the promotional period compared to the previous year and over 42,000 entries were received. This represented an astonishing 9.6% redemption rate so we are looking forward to working with retailers on this promotion to deliver similarly high levels of purchase and engagement.” The neck collars can be found on 440,000 bottles of ERDINGER Alkoholfrei in supermarkets and off-licences. Entry to the promotion is open to UK residents** aged 18 and over and will require purchase of a single 500ml bottle of ERDINGER Alkoholfrei which carries one of the neck collars bearing a unique reference number whilst stocks last. Entrants must also retain proof of purchase as detailed in the terms and conditions. * Whilst stocks last ** Open to UK entries except NI and Channel Islands, Terms & Conditions apply - ENDS - For stocking enquiries visit: https://www.carlsbergmarstons.co.uk/ Facebook: @erdinger.alkoholfreiUK Twitter: @ErdingerAF_UK Instagram: erdinger.alkoholfrei.ukhttps://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/https://www.garmin.com/https://huubdesign.com/ For Release: Thursday 15th May 2025 For further information: Kate Hempsall, obo ERDINGER Alkoholfrei katehempsallpr@outlook.com +44 (0)7534 190241 NOTES TO EDITORS
About ERDINGER Alkoholfrei - The sporty thirst-quencher ERDINGER Alkoholfrei, the non-alcoholic beer with isotonic properties, is a true multi-talent. Spicy malt notes harmonise excellently with caramel-sweet nuances. Enjoyment is enhanced by the stimulating bitterness of our aroma hops and a hint of light, fruity acidity. This is rounded out by finely sparkling carbonic acid. Isotonic drinks have the same so-called osmotic pressure (approx. 290 mOsmol/kg) as human blood, i.e. they have the same concentration of dissolved particles. As a result, the concentration of such drinks does not first need to be compensated by the body and the ingredients can be absorbed immediately and enter the bloodstream. ERDINGER Alkoholfrei also contains vitamins B9 and B12 which promote the normal functioning of the body’s immune system. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important and ERDINGER Alkoholfrei supports these choices.
