Everards Raises £10,000 for Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland

Everards is proud to announce it has raised £10,000 for Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland, its Charity of the Year, thanks to the generosity of its teams, business owners and customers throughout 2025.

The impressive total was achieved through a wide range of fundraising activities across the year, including £1 “invisible” hash browns and chips on the Beer Hall menu, inflatable football darts at the Summer Social, a Race Day auction, raffles, and organised dog walks. Many of the events were supported by Everards’ business owners, while Beer Hall customers also played a key role by choosing to donate through the invisible menu items.

The funds will go directly towards supporting some of the most vulnerable people in the local community, particularly during the winter months when pressures rise.

Tony Donovan, Executive Director for Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland, said: “Just to say a big thank you to you, your colleagues, and customers for kindly donating £10,000 to Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland.

The money received will be used to support the very vulnerable people we work with, particularly during the winter season when so many are struggling to cope not only because of the weather but also due to the cost-of-living crisis.”

Andy Wilson, Managing Director for Everards, said, “The total raised reflects the collective effort of colleagues, partners and customers coming together for a cause that makes a real difference locally.”

Everards and their pubs will continue to raise money for great local causes as they always have.
