Firebrand Brewing Co launches Rising Tide Pilsner as demand grows for premium lager in independent beer sector

Cornwall-based Firebrand Brewing Co has launched Rising Tide Pilsner, a crisp 4.8% ABV lager designed to meet growing consumer demand for premium, independent pilsner-style beers in pubs, bars and venues across the UK.

The new release is a permanent addition to Firebrand’s core range and reflects the brewery’s continued focus on balancing modern drinkability with quality brewing.

Brewed in Launceston, North Cornwall, Rising Tide is brewed with Spalt Select hops and delivers subtle floral notes, a slightly sweet malt body and a clean, crisp finish designed for broad appeal and drinkability.

Positioned as a premium Cornish Pilsner, Rising Tide has been developed with versatility in mind, making it suitable for a broad range of venues from wet-led pubs and seaside bars to food-focused hospitality sites.

The launch comes as independent breweries continue to expand their lager offerings in response to changing consumer preferences, with premium world lager and craft lager remaining strong performers across the on-trade.

Firebrand Brewing Co believes Rising Tide Pilsner will appeal particularly to venues looking to broaden their lager range with independent, highly accessible brands.

Rising Tide is now rolling out across venues in Cornwall and beyond. The beer is a permanent addition to Firebrand’s range and is available in 30L and 50L keg.

Joe added: “There’s a real appetite for quality, well-made lager that still has personality. Rising Tide Pilsner gives venues a fresh option that works equally well as a standalone pint or alongside food.”

Early stockists are already reporting strong customer feedback.
