Independent cider producer - Gravity Theory - is launching two new fruit flavours in 330/440ml cans, elevated by a draught debut response over the past few months.
The new flavours - Berry Cherry and Hazy Pineapple - both include real fruit to produce delicately sweet, lightly sparkling ciders that are punchy in aroma and taste.
Berry Cherry pours vibrant ruby red and features raspberries and blackberries, is slightly tart with a deep cherry kick. Hazy Pineapple is naturally tropical-forward on the nose delivering a smooth natural sweetness.
Produced using single-estate apples, predominantly Michelin and Dabinett varieties, Gravity Theory cider is fermented and matured for a minimum of six months. It is suitable for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets. Lower in alcohol than Gravity Theory's original apple cider - 3.4 ABV versus 4.5 ABV - these new variants are more sessionable, as testified by the venues that are stocking kegs.
For example, Itai Galmundy, Manager at the Hole In The Wall in Waterloo, said: "Both the Berry Cherry and Hazy Pineapple ciders have been a real success for us. They've sold exceptionally well, customers love the flavours, and they've become two of our best-performing fruit ciders. We'd happily recommend them to any venue looking for something a bit different."
David Bridge-Collyns, founder of Gravity Theory, added: "These are bold, juicy, fruit-forward ciders that sit mid-strength but stay true to our roots: real cider, real ingredients, craft-made, natural flavours and no shortcuts. We've loved pouring these new flavours at shows because of the reaction they get and so I can't tell you how excited we are to now have them in cans."
"The timing couldn't be better as interest in our cans has really picked-up on the back of our listings with Virgin Atlantic, Avanti and Eurostar."
RRP for Gravity Theory's Berry Cherry and Hazy Pineapple is £3.50 for 330ml cans and £4 for 440ml cans. For information or orders, visit www.gravitytheorycider.com.

About Gravity Theory
Gravity Theory Cider was created in 2020 by former Hawkes Cider Head of Sales, David Bridge-Collyns, in deference to Sir Isaac Newton... with whom he realised he shared much in common. Not only did they attend the same school (Kings School Grantham) but, just like Dave, Sir Issac was 'working from home' when he established his law of universal gravitation, all thanks to a pandemic upsetting the apple cart. Both had left London to return to Lincolnshire as the Covid outbreak echoed the effects the Great Plague of 1665. It was there that one was hit on the head by a falling apple whilst the other - albeit several hundred years later - was struck by the fruitful idea of producing his own cider.
