Want to cover the best beer festival around? Apply now

What: Great British Beer Festival 2025

Where: NEC Birmingham

When: 5-9 August 2025

We are excited to welcome press and media professionals to the NEC Birmingham to experience the Great British Beer Festival with a new home and look.

Every year we welcome journalists and media professionals, facilitating reporting, exclusive stories, television, radio and bespoke filming and podcast recording requests.

There’s something for everyone at the festival, and we can work with you to get the best angle and content for your audience.

Highlights of the festival include:

Trade Event and Champion Beer of Britain announcement

Our Trade Event on Tuesday 5 August is bigger and better than ever.

As well as the usual top-quality beers, ciders and award announcements, the Trade Event features a conference programme of talks and industry panels from established and rising stars in the wider industry.

Publicans, brewers, cider makers, elected representatives and other industry professionals join us for networking, conversations about challenges facing beer and pubs, and to find out who has won our Champion Beer of Britain award.

Hard-hitting campaigns

CAMRA is a campaigning consumer group. We run festivals to showcase quality beer, cider and perry to consumers.

But we campaign on so much more that, and this Great British Beer Festival we’ll also be talking about:

  • The Keep Cask Alive Campaign, started by the Craft Beer Channel, to list cask beer with UNESCO as a heritage asset.

  • The two-year anniversary of the Crooked House tragedy, how communities can save their local pubs, and what the Government needs to do to help.

  • The explosion in low and no alcohol beers, the expanded selection on offer at the festival, and how committing to low and no is a mark of true dedication to consumer choice.

  • What pubs, brewers and cider makers need from the Chancellor in the Autumn Budget 2025 to survive and thrive.

Discovery Bar

Our Discovery Bar returns, with the aim of helping everyone at the festival learn more about beer, cider and perry.

Brewers and cider makers will join industry experts and CAMRA enthusiasts to run tastings and talks for festivalgoers.
