Guild Members: Nominate Your Brewer of the Year + Beer of the Year
You have until 18th October to send us your nominations.
It's that time of the year again when we ask you to nominate your choice for the Brewer of the Year (sponsored by SIBA) and Beer of the Year, and give your reasons. The two awards will be presented at our annual Awards & Dinner, taking place at Big Penny Social on Wednesday 25th November.
Please note, nominations can only be submitted by individual Guild members. If you are not an individual Guild member, your nomination will be discarded.
Nominating your brewer and beer of the year is the first of a two-step process. Once the nomination deadline has passed, nominees with the most votes will be put through to a member vote – with ties decided by a selection of judges from the wider Guild Awards judging panel. When it comes to your nominations, please bear the following in mind:
Nominations should go to brewers and beers that have achieved something notable in 2026. It could be a great innovation, a rise in quality, an impactful redesign, or an amazing new release.
Core beers that have been brewed before are eligible, but must have a clear reason to be nominated.
If the nominations go to the judging panel, those with the most compelling reasoning are more likely to get through. Please pay attention to your explanations.
All individual Guild members can nominate one brewer and one beer (please note, the beer needs to have been brewed in the United Kingdom during 2026). The deadline for nominations is 23:59 on 18th October.
