St Austell Brewery is hosting an online vertical beer tasting to celebrate the launch of its 2026 edition of Extra Special Tribute (EST) on Thursday 5th November, 6:30-7:30pm (via Teams) with St Austell Brewery’s Brewing Director, Georgina Young.
To mark this year’s limited-edition beer, Georgina will be hosting a relaxed Q&A-style session, guiding guests through tasting and pairing notes for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 vintages, and would love to hear input from beer writers on how they think the beers and how they are ageing.
Online event information:
Over the course of an hour, writers will be able to sample the past two releases of EST alongside the newly released 2026 version.
Guests will be sent a tasting pack of the beers ahead of the event so they’re ready to sit back, relax and sip along to the guided tasting from the comfort of home.

About EST:
Extra Special Tribute is brewed at 7.4%, each year with a novel twist, then bottle conditioned and matured before release. St Austell Brewery now has three vintages - its first two vintages are benefiting from age and the wonderful process of bottle conditioning.
Tribute, St Austell Brewery’s flagship pale ale, started its life in 1999, first brewed as Daylight Robbery. It became a permanent fixture under its new name, Tribute, in honour of those who had helped the business grow to its landmark 150th anniversary. It’s gone on to win numerous awards, and is a brand rooted in supporting south west sports, from grassroots rugby up to premiership football. Loved as a core cask brand on bars across the UK, Tribute is also available in bottle and can.
The first iteration of Extra Special Tribute was born in 2023 to celebrate the coronation of HRH King Charles III in his 74th year.
It’s an extra, extra special edition for St Austell Brewery this year, marking its 175th anniversary!
