For IWD 2026, we've organized a showcase of women makers in Scotland. We have 15 breweries and distilleries and counting participating in a showcase of beer, NA beer, spirits, and soft drinks at a festival named for the divine hag of Scottish Folklore, the Cailleach. We also have local artists exhibiting works themed around IWD as well as several musicians playing live at the festival. Most of the brewers are also coming together to judge a homebrew competition and award a winner at the festival with attendance at the WSET beer level 1 training course for IWCBD attendees. We're also donating to HWU to support a bursary for a woman pursuing an MSc in brewing and distilling.
