Heartwood Inns Welcomes Fresh New Spring Menu

Heartwood Collection is ushering in the new season with the launch of its vibrant Spring Menu at Heartwood Inns, arriving in all 35 pubs from today. Celebrating the very best of British seasonal produce, the new menu brings lighter, brighter flavours to the table, perfect for longer days, garden gatherings and relaxed springtime dining.


Seasonal Flavours, Fresh Perspectives


As the season shifts, so too does the menu, embracing crisp ingredients, colourful plates and the very best of the Spring harvest throughout.


Standout Starters: The beetroot-cured ChalkStream trout gravadlax makes an elegant return, paired with horseradish crème fraîche, soused cucumber and dill. Meanwhile, the Devon crab and avocado, lifted with pink grapefruit and a hint of spice, offers a light yet indulgent coastal-inspired dish. For a comforting bite, the golden goat's cheese and black olive parcel delivers the perfect balance of crunch and creaminess, finished with balsamic and tomato chutney.


Seasonal Mains: A long awaited dish making a return to the new menu is the rich Malabar with spice-roasted cod, coconut rice and king prawns, bold, fragrant and full of flavour. Lighter options include a vibrant pea and broad bean salad and delicate lemon ricotta ravioli, both celebrating the best of spring's green bounty. For those seeking something heartier, the pork tomahawk with buttered spring greens and marjoram jus offers a comforting yet refined seasonal centrepiece.


Indulgent Puddings: To finish, guests can enjoy the return of the much-loved Basque cheesecake with raspberries, alongside a playful take on rhubarb and custard with honeycomb, bringing a nostalgic twist to the season's desserts.


For those dining between Monday and Friday (12pm–5pm), the Seasonal Set Menu offers exceptional value, with two courses for £18.50.
