Mondo Brewing Announces Annual International Women’s Day Charity Beer & Events for 2026

South London Brewery Mondo to Launch Charity Beer ‘Sophie’ with 50% of Profits Donated, Plus Fundraising Party at Mc & Sons in Vauxhall Offering Free Pints for Booked Guests, Live Music, A Charity Raffle & More.

Mondo Brewing Company has announced the release of Sophie, a 4.2% hazy pale ale brewed for International Women’s Day, with 50% of profits donated to Spark The Noise, an award-winning charity working at the intersection of gender justice and the music industry, amplifying the voices of girls, women, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people through music-making and community building.

Sophie was designed and brewed by the women of Mondo and inspired by the life and artistry of SOPHIE, championing women and non-binary musicians, music lovers and hospitality workers both near and far with artwork by Nina Sweeney.

THE LAUNCH PARTY AT MC & SONS IN VAUXHALL

Mondo will launch Sophie on Thursday 5th March from 6PM at Mc & Sons in Vauxhall,

bringing together London’s hospitality, music and brewing communities for an evening of beer, fundraising and celebration.

On the night, Sophie will be pouring fresh on draught from 6PM, with a charity raffle running throughout the evening - guests can donate directly to the chosen charity, show proof of donation, and receive raffle tickets for the chance to win exciting prizes. From 9PM, live music will take over, turning the launch into a full celebration of the communities the beer was brewed to support.

Managed by Cambridge, Mc & Sons has long supported Mondo, consistently pouring Dennis Hopp’r on tap and championing independent, local brewing. Their local sister pub, Molly Mc’s will also have Sophie on their taps this March under the leadership of manager Ciara.

Over the past few years, Mondo’s International Women’s Day charity beer launches have developed into vibrant community events, regularly welcoming over 60 guests from across London’s brewing, hospitality, and music scenes.

FIRST POUR VENUES & SOCIAL CAMPAIGN

Sophie will be pouring first at selected venues across London, with more to be announced. As part of the campaign, Mondo will spotlight womxn working behind the bar, on the floor, and in management at participating venues, celebrating the people who shape welcoming, inclusive hospitality spaces.

The social campaign will also feature behind-the-scenes brewing content, artwork highlights, charity messaging, and first pour venue announcements.

SOPHIE TASTING NOTES

SOPHIE is a 4.2% hazy pale ale, brewed to be smooth, soft, and refreshing, with a modern haze, gentle bitterness, and vibrant hop aroma. The beer is designed for approachability and repeat enjoyment, focusing on drinkability while delivering the juicy aromatics and pillowy texture expected of a contemporary hazy pale.

The release has been brewed specifically for International Women’s Day and will be available exclusively in 30L kegs for trade. This is a strictly limited run. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
