Backed by huge customer demand, the new merch lands just in time for Christmas gifting
Manchester’s most iconic Irish pub, Mulligans, has announced the launch of its first-ever merchandise collection, allowing regulars and visitors to take a piece of the beloved pub home.
The line-up includes a beanie, hoodie, polo shirt, t-shirt, tote bag, and zip-up jacket, all in classic black and finished with the pub’s distinctive gold logo. Launching on Tuesday 25th November, the collection arrives just in time for Christmas, making it the perfect gift for Mulligans regulars, Guinness fans, and Manchester locals. The collection will be on display in the pub and available to purchase in-venue or online at https://mulligansmcr.com/merch/.
The new range comes in response to long-standing demand from customers, many of whom have been asking to get their hands on official Mulligans merch for years. The collection includes the same lightweight, clean-cut polo shirts worn by the Mulligans team - a firm favourite among regulars who’ve been requesting them since the early days.
“We’ve had people asking for Mulligans merch for as long as I can remember,” said Pádraig Brady, owner of Mulligans. “The pub means a lot to people - locals, tourists, regulars, football fans - and it felt like the right time to give them something they can take home. We’re proud of what Mulligans stands for, and now people can wear that pride too.”
All items are designed for everyday wear, with sizes ranging from Small to 2XL, and will be restocked regularly, with limited-edition pieces planned for future launches. Prices start from £7.50 for a tote bag and go up to £50.00 for a zip-up jacket.
Recognised as the “Best Pub in Manchester” at the 2025 Manchester Food and Drink Awards, Mulligans continues to draw huge crowds for its live music, sports screenings, and famously perfect pints of Guinness. Pouring an average of 13,000 pints a week, it’s a Manchester institution known for its warmth, character, and unmistakable Irish spirit.
With this launch, fans can now take a piece of that experience home, wearing the iconic gold Mulligans logo as a nod to a pub that’s as much a part of Manchester as the people who fill it.
The full merch collection is available online at Mulligans’ official website at https://mulligansmcr.com/ and in the pub itself at 12 Southgate, Manchester M3 2RB.

About Mulligans:
Nestled in Deansgate, with a history spanning more than 170 years, Mulligans is Manchester’s oldest Irish pub and a true institution in the city’s vibrant drinking scene. Originally known as the Waggon and Horses, the pub held that name for most of its existence before being renamed in the 1990s. Since 2013, under the ownership of Pádraig Brady, Mulligans has become renowned for pouring ‘the best pint of Guinness outside of Ireland’, building on its long-standing tradition of quality, warm hospitality, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
In January 2025, it was recognised as the Best Pub in Manchester at the Manchester Food and Drink Awards, a testament to its enduring appeal, daily live music, sports screenings, and deep connection to Irish culture. Whether guests are looking for a perfectly poured Guinness, the charm of traditional Irish tunes downstairs, or the electric energy of a live band in the newly expanded upstairs space, Mulligans offers an authentic taste of Ireland in the heart of Manchester.
