March 2026: Orbit Beers White Label Series April Sours will be released on 1st April 2026. The Dill Pickle Gose and the Blood Orange & Lemon Thyme Sour, both 4.4%.
Both beers began with the same base containing wheat malt, lager malt, Pilgrim hops, and Lallemand WildBrew Helveticus before taking two very different directions. One offers the fresh, rich flavours of a Gose with sea salt, in-house lacto-fermented pickled cucumbers and fresh dill. The other is infused with juicy, seasonal blood oranges and fresh lemon thyme.
Both sours showcase our brew team’s ability to manipulate a variety of ingredients and delicately balance flavours to create conversation-starting seasonal sours that remain highly drinkable.
Dill Pickle Gose 4.4%
A bright, refreshing take on a traditional sour, this Dill Pickle Gose balances gentle acidity with a moreish salinity. Brewed with salt, fresh dill, and in-house pickled cucumbers that were lacto-fermented with vine leaves, black pepper, coriander seeds, and fresh dill. It’s rich, aromatic, and distinctly drinkable with gentle aromas of chardonnay with fresh dill sprigs.
On the palate, the beer develops a lightly brined character, reminiscent of artisanal pickles. This is complemented by green, garden-like freshness from the dill. Rich, crisp, and tart, with a lingering savoury finish.
Blood Orange & Lemon Thyme Sour 4.4%
This Blood Orange & Lemon Thyme Sour showcases a complexity of seasonal flavours. Pouring soft and hazy with a blush of orange, it opens with gentle citrus peel aromas and herbal top notes from the lemon thyme. On the palate, it’s clean and soft with a balanced tartness upfront, followed by fresh, juicy blood oranges with undertones of cranberry. The lemon thyme weaves in delicately, adding a subtle herbal lift and a dry, almost floral finish. Light-bodied, complex but approachable.
Join us for the launch night at the Orbit Beers taproom in Walworth/Elephant & Castle on 9th April 2026. We’ll have dishes to pair with the new beers from Dragon Flame BBQ, plus a tour of the brewery at 4 pm and an opportunity to chat with the brew team. You’ll be able to try the new sours on tap, take-away bottles, and try alongside Tzatziki Sour in tasting flights.

Ethos
Orbit Beers are deeply rooted in European brewing traditions with a modern approach. They take classic styles and make them their own, with an eye for finesse and drinkability.
Orbit’s work is inspired by the ethos of their favourite record labels, who hold music and art above all else. Likewise, Orbit Beers accept no compromises when it comes to making their beer, winning multiple awards for their core range and famous Tzatziki Sour.
Story
In 2012, Orbit Beers Founder Robert got in his campervan and set off on a journey to visit every single brewery in his native Scotland. It took him from the northernmost island in Shetland to the Outer Hebrides, the Scottish Borders and even his hometown of Dundee.
On a trip to discover great beer, he also discovered great people! And realized that the brewing industry was home to a wonderfully warm and passionate community that he wanted to be a part of.
With an overwhelming desire to start up a brewery of his own, Robert headed back home to South London to find a team of like-minded people who shared his enthusiasm for beer, brewing, and music. Bringing those elements together under the railway arches in Walworth, Orbit Beers was born and began to build its now award-winning portfolio of beers.
Team
Brought together by their passion for good beer, they’re a team of music lovers, vinyl collectors, DJs, and musicians with decades of experience in the brewing industry between them.
They moved into the double railway arch in the heart of Walworth, South London in 2014, and since then, they’ve remained independently owned and all their beers have been brewed and packaged on-site.
