RedWillow Brewery has announced that three of its core beers, Weightless, Cloudless and Divisionless, are now certified gluten-free (<20ppm), following independent testing of each beer.
The Macclesfield-based independent brewery, founded by Toby and Caroline McKenzie in 2010, has had all three beers sent for testing and certification, meaning drinkers looking for gluten-free options now have three RedWillow beers to choose from.
Weightless, a 4.2% session IPA made with 100% Mosaic hops, brings pithy grapefruit and mango flavours with a well-rounded body, an uncompromisingly balanced beer that has already picked up a CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain Regional Silver in the Pale, Blonde & Golden Ales category, and a Great Taste Award (1 star) in 2024.
Cloudless, a 6.4% IPA, is an ultra-clean beer designed to showcase Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops. A malt base of Bohemian Pilsner malt and rice is fermented with a lager yeast to produce a clean, crisp body that lets the hops shine through.
Divisionless, a 4.0% lager, is brewed with the best British ingredients but follows the great traditions of German brewing, light in body with a dry finish, perfect for quenching a thirst anytime, any place. It picked up a Great Taste Award (2 star) in 2024.
All three beers are on rotation at RedWillow's bars in Macclesfield and Buxton, available in 440ml cans via the RedWillow online shop, and can also be found in pubs up and down the country.
"Weightless, Cloudless and Divisionless have always been beers we're proud of, so it means a lot to now be able to say they're certified gluten free. We wanted to make sure people who can't drink gluten still get to enjoy the same beers everyone else does, with no compromise on flavour."
