Registrations for the Brussels Beer Challenge 2026 are officially open. This year, the prestigious international beer competition celebrates its 15th edition and heads to Roeselare, a city with deep roots in Belgian beer culture.

As every year, the Brussels Beer Challenge will bring together hundreds of breweries and international beer experts with one shared mission: to evaluate and reward the world's finest beers.

For this anniversary edition, the competition introduces several important updates to its category portfolio. For the first time in the history of the Brussels Beer Challenge, a dedicated NABLAB (No &/or Low Alcohol Beer) main category has been added. This reflects the rapid growth and rising quality of low- and no-alcohol beers worldwide.

In addition, two new subcategories have been introduced to the competition rules: Catharina Sour, the fruity and refreshing Brazilian sour style gaining international momentum, and Scotch Ale (Wee Heavy), a rich, malt-driven beer style with deep historical roots.

With these additions, the Brussels Beer Challenge reinforces its ambition to provide a platform for both beer traditions and emerging trends in the global brewing landscape.

Registrations are now open.
