Greene King, the UK’s leading cask brewer, is unveiling the next instalment of its 2026 Fresh Cask Releases calendar, bringing back one of the most popular beers in the calendar, which has been enhanced this year with additional pump clip designs.
From March through to the end of April, the much‑loved Spring Break will make its annual return. The refreshing 4.4% golden ale remains true to its popular recipe: hoppy, light, with hints of peach, lychee and tropical notes, offering drinkers a flavourful pint perfect for the brighter months to come.
In response to continued innovation with pump clip designs and a focus on visual appeal, Greene King is introducing two additional pump clip designs for Spring Break in 2026:
George and the Flagon – a character‑led, playful design, created to help pubs celebrate St George’s Day, adding personality and a conversation‑spark at the bar.
Four Leaf – a fresh, seasonal, spring‑themed pump clip inspired by St Patrick’s Day, bringing a sense of optimism and a reason to celebrate.
Customers will receive all three pump clips with their usual beer order, giving pubs the flexibility to tailor their bar presentation to their venue style and guest preferences.
Amina Ali, Brand Manager at Greene King, said: “Spring Break is always a favourite with our drinkers, and we appreciate that they will be keen to enjoy the beer again; however, we have also considered that some pubs want to be able to showcase pump clips tailored to special occasions such as St George’s Day and St. Patrick's Day when utilising a seasonal beer.
“By offering multiple pump clip designs, we’re helping our customers create standout moments that appeal to different audiences, while delivering the same high‑quality golden cask ale that guests return for year after year.”
Spring Break will be available in firkins and pins (36‑pint units), along with all other seasonal cask beers, providing pubs with greater flexibility on throughput.
